Change only happens when a movement of people step up and demand it.
It’s going to take a people-powered, people-funded social movement to fight back against the big money and influence of the fossil fuel industry,
There’s never been a more urgent time to come together and build our power in the fight for climate justice. From rescuing neighbours in floodwaters, to rebuilding livelihoods after bushfires, we are already being hit hard by the impacts of climate change.
But there is also an unstoppable groundswell of people here and around the world ready to solve the crisis and ensure justice for communities affected by climate change.
How does it work?

Make a profile online, tell us how you’re stepping up and connect with thousands of other people around the continent doing the same.
Set a goal for how you want to get active. Whether it’s going for a daily stroll, running a marathon, or challenging yourself creatively - you can choose a preset goal, or pick anything that works for you!
Raise Funds
Promote your challenge to your friends, family and community to raise funds and build the movement.
Big fossil fuel companies are lining up to open up risky new gas projects across the continent - putting their corporate profits ahead of a clean and safe future for all of us.
Your support will help us build a movement of young people to stand up against fossil fuel expansion and demand our government puts people ahead of big polluters.
Empowering a movement of young people
Our future is on the line because of climate change. Young people have done the least to contribute to the climate crisis, yet we're the worst affected generation in history.
The funds you raise will help grow our training and leadership programs, making sure that all young people can access the tools and training to fight for their future.
Wherever we are in this country, AYCC respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land and their Elders past and present. Sovereignty was never ceded.
